Academic Excellence
Our teaching team is highly qualified, has extensive experience in teaching Spanish, and works with commitment and enthusiasm to ensure communicative, effective, and enriching learning. The entire school team operates efficiently and flexibly, creating a pleasant and motivating learning environment for our students.
Privileged Location
Our school is located in Pedregalejo, a residential area with low-rise buildings, lush vegetation, and the beach just steps away. Students can enjoy sports, food, and walks in an authentic setting on its lively seafront promenade. We are just a 10-minute bus ride from downtown Málaga.
Cultural immersion with learning through games
In all our classes, language immersion goes hand in hand with its cultural component, presented through various activities, games, and presentations. Our teachers aren’t content with simply teaching grammar; we also work on culture—an essential aspect, given the richness of the Spanish-speaking community.
Accommodation tailored to each student
We offer carefully selected accommodation options that provide a comfortable and safe environment, supporting full immersion in the Spanish language and culture. Students can choose between shared apartments, ideal for living with other international students and building friendships, or host families, offering an authentic cultural experience and daily contact with Spanish life.
Our Story Starts in early 1986
Cervantes Escuela Internacional was founded in 1986 by Paola Moreno at a time when learning Spanish was not so popular. The daughter of a Portuguese father and a Spanish mother, she lived in Lisbon, Madrid, Geneva, and Malaga, where she settled. Her beginnings as a teacher and her innovative spirit made quality teaching the core of our school. With her visionary spirit, she collaborated with other schools in Andalusia to professionalize the sector.
She actively participated in creating the federation, consolidating Cervantes Escuela Internacional’s reputation as a benchmark in Spanish language and culture training.
Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is to provide the highest quality Spanish language instruction, personalized and tailored to each student. We promote an enriching cultural experience in a diverse and inclusive environment, where each student feels valued and motivated to achieve their personal language goals.
Through close and professional attention, we foster respect, trust, and cultural exchange, ensuring that learning Spanish is a meaningful and transformative experience.
We aim to be internationally recognized as a benchmark in Spanish language instruction, standing out for our academic quality, innovation, and commitment to diversity and equality. We aspire to continue growing as an institution that not only educates its students linguistically but also contributes to their personal development and connection with Hispanic culture.
Social Commitment at Cervantes EI
We collaborate with organisations such as Cruz Roja and CEPER, supporting educational and social initiatives that promote inclusion, access to learning and equal opportunities through language education.
